The origins of tigusto

Tigusto was founded in the Canton of Ticino in 1988 thanks to the vision of Pierluigi Zanchi, a pioneer of organic and sustainable food. From the beginning, the company stood out for its artisanal production of organic tofu, the use of local and certified organic ingredients, and a corporate policy focused on promoting a work-life balance.

Tigusto became one of the first companies in Switzerland to obtain organic certification, the same year the first federal ordinance on organic production was introduced. This achievement confirms the company's commitment to healthy and sustainable nutrition.

The first complete conversion of its CO2 emissions begins, through reforestation projects in desert areas (Burkina Faso).

Tigusto is MyClimate certified.

2025

A new chapter: New management, same values

After years of dedication, Pierluigi Zanchi passes the baton to Pablo Wydler , an expert in the food and gastronomic sector, who becomes the new owner of Tigusto.

Pablo brings on board Tamara Brochetti , administrative and accounting manager, and Nora Ceresa , marketing and digital manager, to strengthen and grow the company.

The future of Tigusto

With over 35 years of history, Tigusto continues its journey with passion, innovation, and respect for the environment, aiming to become a reference point for organic and artisanal food in Switzerland.
